About Us
 Morning Star Friends is a vibrant church of 400 weekly attendees located on Rt. 44 (just 1/4 mile south of Rt. 322) in Chardon. We are associated with Willoughby Hills Friends Church and Cornerstone Friends Church in Madison and a member of the Evangelical Friends Church (Eastern Region) Denomination. Our first service was on October 25, 1998 at Park Elementary School in Chardon.
We believe God has given us the responsibility of providing a church that is loving, caring, and relevant—a church in which you can experience God. We pray to be a church that God will use to bless
you, our surrounding communities and the world. Our hope is that Morning Star Friends Church will become your church
home.
Statement of Faith
We believe...
that the Bible is verbally inspired and the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe...
that God loves man and sent Jesus, the second person of the Trinity, to pay the price for our sin that we are unable to pay.
We believe...
that every person is separated from God because of sin and needs a personal Savior in order to have a relationship with God. This Savior is Jesus Christ. We believe that it is not God’s desire for anyone to go to hell, but those that reject Christ condemn themselves.
We believe...
that the Church consists of every believer and that each believer is equipped to minister. This equipping is done by the Holy Spirit as He gives spiritual gifts to each part of the body. It is our responsibility to discover and use our personal gifts for the edification of the body of Christ. We believe that all gifts are for today.
We believe...
in the second coming of Christ for His church, the Tribulation period to come and the ultimate establishment of a new heaven and a new earth.
